The Connection Project

At this time when partnership and collaboration is needed more than ever, we've come together with CircuitWest to provide The Connection Project.

Check out this video for an introduction to the project and scroll down this page for all the information.

WHAT IT'S ABOUT

The diversity of our Western Australian sector is huge from technicians to regional venues, artists to arts managers. We recognise that we play a role in connecting us all and that the combined reach of our organisations means we can bring this program to as many people as possible in our industry.

This project is an immediate response to COVID-19 and aims to support you through this period of challenge and stress. The project will initially last for three months as we realise the state of the world changes each day.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

On Zoom each fortnight three outstanding psychologists, will unpack the psychological responses that we may be experiencing, how they affect us, and how to understand them. We also invite you to join a series of small group sessions each fortnight with one of the psychologists to unpack what was discussed in the large group and provide a place for connection and sharing.

SESSIONS

Fortnight Four

We invite you to join us to connect and develop skills for unpacking stress and coping responses to the crisis. With the support of psychologists, we’ll share key psychological concepts and strategies that help bring awareness to our current state and open options for skill development and growth.

Large Group Session

This fortnight’s Big Zoom Meeting will be on the 21 May at 11am.

Topic:
Compassion for Self and Others
With the support of psychologists, we’ll share key psychological concepts and strategies that help bring awareness to our current state and open options for skill development and growth.

Small Group Sessions

Our Small Zoom Group Sessions are over the week 25 – 29 May 2020. The small groups will expand and personalise the Big Zoom session.

Been to a small group session? We ask you to book into the same session time and with the same psychologist each week.

New to small group sessions? we ask you to book a session time and psychologist who you aim to stick with each fortnight, as the small groups will work better in that way.

Bookings are open now for small sessions at this link.

Once you have booked we will send you an ZOOM link for that session and an agreement we need you to return.
